Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This is a simple image, but the story behind it is sad. I was away from home, visiting my second home on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I got a call from my dear friend in Canada and she didn't sound good - weak, disoriented, ill. I was not very well myself, so I couldn't just hop on a plane to Canada. It turns out this was the last time I ever spoke to her. My calls went to voice mail and then the line was disconnected. I never heard from her again and I can only assume she must have died.

I was a latecomer to photography, starting in my 60's (I am now in my 70's). Yet I have found great satisfaction and pleasure in creating digital art from my photographs. Taking pictures was a hobby until spine surgery in 2001 left me disabled and gave me the opportunity to learn about digital art and photographic software.
