Description
Spike was a rescue animal from a local shelter. He was a sweet boy, very gentle and always calm. I used a subtle grunge texture for the background.

revisiting here: you know, dear Ellen, every time I see the face of a dear pet, cat or dog, I hope it's not from the past. I still remember the awful pain and tears I felt when I lost my Arabella. I am sorry you lost Spike. Hugs, dear friend.
Ellen Cotton replied:
Thank you for your compassionate comments, Sabina! It is always sad to lose a loved one and pets are no exception for sure. I'm sorry for your loss also!

Spike is quite handsome. I love those sweet green eyes and black fur. Nicely composed Ellen. l/fave
